Run Seal Beach® is a non-profit organization whose charter is to raise funds and awareness for recreation or fitness programs and services to benefit the greater Seal Beach Community including Rossmoor and Los Alamitos. Since 2003, RSB has given back more than $2,000,000 to our community. These grants have provided assistance to more than 118 organizations throughout the years, touching thousands of residents, students, service-people and those who are served by our community.

Our non-profit charter has been in existence since 1999, though our organization has sponsored runs for over 50 years. The race has continued to grow in its attendance and contributions and all the net proceeds are given back to our local communities, primarily in the form of grants.  In 2011, we established a portion of our funds to be distributed through Director’s Awards. These awards are at the sole discretion of the Run Seal Beach® Board of Directors.
 

Any non-profit organization meeting the eligibility criteria as stated in our 
RUN SEAL BEACH GRANT PROGRAM GUIDELINES may apply for funding. 

Requests are awarded annually. Due to the number of requests received, not all applicants will receive grants. Applications and/or organizations that do not meet our criteria are not included in our Grant Review process.
