The Run Seal Beach Board of Directors is committed to making our annual event one of high quality and a source of pride for our city, as well as for our race sponsors. Our event hosts up to 6,000 total participants a year, and is an opportunity to run or walk in some of the most beautiful oceanfront areas on the West Coast.

We are a non-profit organization whose charter is to raise funds and awareness for recreation programs and services for the greater Seal Beach community. Since the inception of the non-profit, Run Seal Beach has contributed more than $1,800,000 back to the local community, making us the largest non-profit local benefactor in the community, impacting tens of thousands of residents each year.

The non-profit charter has been in existence since 1999, although the organization has sponsored runs for 45 years.

The race has continued to grow in attendance and contributions every year. The event is directed, planned, managed and executed 100% by volunteers.
